I have sold my own home a few times and it is never any less surreal to be telling someone all about your home. It is a very emotional time. Many people busy themselves because moving is a lot of work, but it also distracts from leaving. Once you sit it hits you, all of the happy memories you have of your home. You try to focus on the new ones you will make, bittersweet. Home is where the heart is.
